It is quiet. Very, very quiet as it does not work, again. Now the part we need won't be in for another five weeks. The control panel didn't work right from day one. But it worked. We didn't how it was supposted to work until we it finally broke and was replaced. We loved it then, it worked they way it was supposed to, for three weeks. Then it broke again. Also, if you need warrant service, the repair window is 8 am to 5 pm. Yes that is right, you need to be at home for 9 hours straight, they don't do half day repair windows. Also they never bring parts with them. You have to take a day off, have them say, yup it is broken, I'll order the part, that will take a week, so lets schedule another repair day in two weeks. So you have to take two days off because they don't bother to stock their repair vans with parts.

After researching, we chose this product, thinking it would be very durable and long lasting, as it was an upgrade from our previous dishwasher. The stems on the basket started breaking after a couple of months, and the performance went downhill. Seems like I'm always rewashing some dishes after every load. Then a few days ago (just over a year after it was purchased) it started acting like it was just draining, with no water in it and flashing an error message with the lights on the touch screen. Now I have to pay a certified service person to drive an hour+ to come and look at it, and then more to fix it. Thankfully Electrolux will pay for parts, but we could be more than halfway to purchasing a new dishwasher just in labor costs on a "good, more pricey" dishwasher that we feel we JUST bought!

Bought this Christmas week and it was installed the next day. It replaced a 24 year old dishwasher and it's incredible how they have improved. This model is so quiet that sometimes you can't even hear it. It has a very large capacity so I can put mote in and hand wash less. Everything comes out sparkling, particularly the glassware. I highly recommend it.
