Bought KCDS100T2 Feb 2019. Ran into the low drain issues and had to customize the drainage. Yesterday it quit working. Used the Allen wrench ( came with it) and tried to rotate the grinding plate but in vain. Reached out to customer service , can’t get a technician for a week to to loot at it. It’s very expensive compared to other companies but paid the price anticipating and expecting not to run into such issues due to the reliability and reputation of kitchen Aide. Per customer service can’t take it in to a authorized service provided. Now I am out of a sink for a week.

This replaces a 22 year old Kitchen Aid disposal. This one is more powerful, quieter, smaller and a real joy to use!!
