Unit has all the advantages of gas cooking. The exhaust fan is much stronger than our last unit. When clean, it has a striking appearance which looks great in our kitchen.

The glass top makes it much easier to clean compared to a previous one. Also, the two speed levels for the down draft fan are nice.

Great cooktop, cleans up easily with the right cleaner. love the down draft which kept us from having to buy an ugly hood. Plenty of BTU's on the main and secondary burners. I really like the small burner for warming and sauces.

I've had this several weeks and am just getting used to cooking with gas. I wish that one of the back burners was located in the front (based on the BTU's) and that the lower BTU burner was in the back. Also, it is quite attractive with the black glass base but it is not easy to clean and keep clean. It shows every spill, smudge, dust, etc. It has to be cleaned with a cream cleaner and then buffed. It takes me 15 minutes to get it spotless. I wouldn't buy this type again as I like my kitchen to look neat and clean and I use the stovetop almost every day.

Choose this over the GE as it was less $ and had more BTU cooking power. I replaced and old Jenn- Air cartridge cook top and was hope that it would be easy to clean. The technology has not really changed and this unit is not any easier to clean
