purchased many years ago and love the drawers and convenience. Replaced the touch pad for a heft fee after a year and it failed shortly there after. Been going along okay until now where every other day or so it is freezing everything. No way to change the controls so need to buy a new one?

Very convenient and useful. BUT, many reports (including mine) of this unit's poor design resulting in early electronics failure. Mine was replaced with a new one under warranty but the new one perpetuates the bad design.
