Looks great, but I'm having trouble adjusting the temperature. It has cold spots and food freezes.

Purchased this 4 years ago, and almost immediately had trouble with cooling issues; freezing food in the refrigerator, or too warm in the freezer. Called for service during the warranty period, and they said there was nothing that could be done. Now the compressor has gone bad, and I'm faced with replacing it. Will never buy Maytag again.

We remodeled our kitchen & bought all Maytag appliances, I wouldn't recommend any of them. It has been less than 3 years. We called for service on this fridge within the first year they didn't really want to service it & when they came out they didn't do much. It freezes the food in the back and then 2 wks ago it just shut off. We have to reset it a lot & keep a thermometer in it to make sure it is working correctly. We constantly have to monitor it. Will not be buying any more Maytags. We like to buy US made products so this really stinks.

We remodeled our kitchen less than 3 years ago and bought all Maytag appliances and we are not happy with any of them. The fridge is the worst. We called to have it serviced within the first year. They really didn't want to come and then did not do much to fix it. We can not put food in the back it freezes it, we have to babysit it constantly and have a thermometer in it to make sure it is working right. Last week it quit completely. Thankful so far we can keep resetting it & it continues to work.

I like the freezer accessibility. However, it is very difficult to see anything in the inside of the refrigerator. The bottom of the freezer door blocks the view of the top shelf. I feel like I have to almost kneel on the floor to see what is on the shelves.
