Purchased in 12-23-12 and the compressor has already died. In order to get it fixed have to get assessment then take unit MYSELF to repair shop for part to be put in. I will probably have to pick it up after repair is done as well.I have spoken with the repair plus one service contract and have been informed that even if I purchase this contract offered through Maytag I will have the same issue (taking and picking up my refrigerator) I have purchased other brands of refrigerators that have been running for 20 plus years with no issues!!! Now I have to decide whether it is worth the absolute hassle to repair on a part that is under warranty or trash it for a brand that has PROVEN to be RELIABLE.

The single thermostat setting for freezer and cool section alike is a severe problem. Either the ice cream is melting or the lettuce is freezing ? sometimes both. The mid-level drawer does not move smoothly, often comes out of its grooves and is difficult to put back into place. The location of the thermostat in the center of the top shelf is awkward. I'm not surprised that the model is discontinued. I wish we hadn't bought it.

I purchased this product a couple of months ago, and it is just what I needed. I use it as a second refrigerator for beverages and cold treats for the kids. There is only one temperature control to operate both the refrigerator and freezer. I have found that two bottles of water have frozen in the refrigerator depending on their location. A separate control would be preferred. However, this suits my needs perfectly.

My new wife and I purchased this for our first home. Not needing an ice maker or water spout it was perfect. While very basic its a clean and stylish refrigerator. Its clear shelving is way better looking than the wire and worth the extra money. Both the top and the bottom are extremely roomy. If given the chance to go back I'd make the same purchase.

Really love it. Best we ever owned.
