The burner controls get hot when the front burners are being used. Why are they closet to the burner instead of closer to outside edge?

Purchased dual built in ovens, gas cooktop, warming drawer, and exhaust hood. This equipment replaced 15 year old viking appliances. Both my wife and I are avid cooks and use the appliances extensively. I can say without hesitation that the Jenn-Aire appliances are absolutely wonderful. Well done!

I just bought this appliance from Jenn-Air this month along with an oven and we are very pleased with it. We did a lot of research and the quality of the components along with it's very sleek and up-scale finish are exactly what we wanted.
